A specialist medication kit for high-altitude expeditions. Is usually purchased as an add-on to an Adult Medication Kit, but can also be purchased individually. Contains medicines to help treat altitude sickness and its complications, when timely descent is not possible.  

Includes:

• Acetazolamide: reduces symptoms of altitude sickness.
• Dexamethasone (oral and injectable): a steroid for severe altitude sickness.
• Nifedipine: treats shortness of breath from high-altitude pulmonary oedema (fluid in the lungs).
• Ibuprofen: helps to relieve headache caused by altitude sickness
